What command retrieves OID information?

what OS are you using? You can get a free MIB browser online that will create all of the SNMP commands for you. I use one called "MIB Browser" from a company called "ireasoning". It was free and is easy to use. They have the standard MIB's loaded, so you can get the sysDescr easily.
