How do i get my hair in tight curls?

You can get a perm or you can try using curlformer or flexirods in the smallest form...a perm would be more permanent the flexirod or curlformers would only last a day or two until you redo it depending on what your hair is like. I also know that some people use chopsticks or straws to get really tight curls but you have to use really small sections of hair.
