My hair is like a brillo pad and just goes up and up,what can I use to soften it and lubricate it?

Natural methods work best, as I've found. I'm caucasian and have the same problem. There are several ways of taming this issue. You could look up natural hair care or something like that, or you could get a book on it at the library.
