Should I send it to him?

Okay, so my boyfriend and I broke up last night and it happened really fast and we never really got the chance to talk about it. I'm really afraid that there could be a misunderstanding between us and I want everything to be clear. So I wanna text him and just be like "hey, can we talk?" or something like that but idk if he'll reply. And if he does reply I won't know what to say to him when he does. So I'm wondering if I should just let it all be, or if I should text him and have a hugely awkward conversation that might only be one sided with him to "try" and resolve it. Any advice?
